A new poll of the crucial swing state of Michigan shows warning signs for Kamala Harris as she looks to secure the so-called Democratic 'blue wall.'

The InsiderAdvantage poll shows Donald Trump leading by one point in the state.

It has the GOP nomineee at 49 percent and Harris at 48 percent signaling it's going to be an extremely close race in the must-win state for Democrats on their path to the White House.

The InsiderAdvantage poll was conducted of 800 likely voters September 11 and 12, after the presidential debate.

Michigan has 15 electoral votes up for grabs come November. Trump managed to flip the state red in 2016 but it went for President Biden in 2020 and Democrats have since taken a trifecta in the state.

The Real Clear Politics average has Harris up by less than one point in the state.

Donald Trump said he hoped to be called the 'border president' as he launched an attack on how the influx of Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, has 'destroyed' residents' way of life.

The former president said more than 20,000 migrants have descended on the town as he attacked Kamala Harris on the border.

He also said Harris would turn the U.S. into a 'poor violent third world refugee camp and it already sort of is.'

President Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump for spreading false reports of migrants eating pets, saying it was leading to attacks on the Haitian community.

The ‘Haitian American community is under attack right now,’ Biden said at the White House during an event for Black Excellence.

‘There's no place in America for this. It has to stop. What he's doing has to stop,’ he said.

Trump has doubled down on his comments that migrants in Springfield City, Ohio, are eating pets. The false rumor has spread on the internet and lead to threats in the community.

Rob Rue, the mayor of Springfield, Ohio, said that the bomb threat made on Thursday that forced the evacuation of the city hall, two schools, and other buildings in the community was explicitly anti-immigrant and hostile to the city’s Haitian community, following Trump’s stoking of a rightwing conspiracy theory that some residents’ pets are being eaten.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer pushed to meet Kamala Harris and Donald Trump during his short visit to the United States but their campaign schedules interfered.

The PM is 'keen to meet both candidates if schedules align in the future,' a British official told DailyMail.com.

Starmer is eager to sit down with whoever will be President Joe Biden's successor amid questions about what the special relationship between the two countries will look like after November's election.

Harris is campaigning in Pennsylvania on Friday when Starmer is scheduled to be at the White House to meet with Biden. Trump is on the West Coast, fundraising in California and then holding a rally in Las Vegas.

ABC News put out a statement denying the MAGA-fueled allegations that Vice President Kamala Harris had a leg up during this week's presidential debate.

'Absolutely not,' an ABC News spokesperson told the Daily Beast. 'Harris was not given any questions before the debate.'

Former President Donald Trump said on Fox & Friends Wednesday that Harris was 'awfully familiar' with the questions being given to her by moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis.

Muir and Davis have come under fire for fact-checking Trump in real-time during Tuesday night's debate in Philadelphia.

Donald Trump's presidential campaign hit some turbulence as the MAGA world sparred over his cozy relationship with right-wing provocateur Laura Loomer.

The 31-year-old firebrand accompanied Trump on his private plane as he as jetted to the presidential debate in Philadelphia and the 9/11 commemoration in New York on Wednesday.

Loomer - known for spewing hate-filled screeds against a wide swath of religious and ethnic groups - has been described as Trump's 'security blanket.'

'I spent a few days with Laura Loomer earlier this year and came away with the impression that she functions as a security blanket for Trump,' tweeted Washington Post reporter Kara Voght.

'When campaigning asks him to deny his most based tendencies, Loomer encourages them. And Trump loves that.'

Despite the comfort she provides, an array of Republicans from Marjorie Taylor-Green to Senator Lindsey Graham have denounced Loomer as 'appalling and extremely racist'.

President Joe Biden has signaled a new openness to allowing Ukraine to send long-range missiles into Russia amid a warning from Vladimir Putin such a move would lead to 'war.'

Biden is expected to discuss the issue with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer when the two men meet at the White House on Friday afternoon.

American officials told CNN that they did not expect an immediate sign off from Biden on allowing US-provided Army Tactical Missile Systems — known as ATACMS — to be launched on targets inside Russia.

But the United Kingdom has sent its own long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Kyiv. Their use, along with use of similar weapons from France, is currently limited to within Ukraine.

A change in that policy will require U.S. sign-off, which is what Biden and Starmer will be discussing in their meeting on Friday.

Kamala Harris is headed to Trump country today to campaign in counties that Trump won in 2020 and 2016 as she looks to win Pennsyvlania.

The vice president is first headed to Johnstown, PA this afternoon. It is in Cambria County which Trump won by more than 68 percent in the last election even as he lost the state.

From there, she's headed to Wilkes-Barre which is in Luzerne County. Trump won it in 2020 by more than 56 pecent in 2020.

It's part of the second stretch of Harris' 'New Way Forward Tour' as she mounts an aggressive campaign in the final stretch.

The move to head into so-called Trump country is part of an effort by the Harris campaign to grow her support.

In Johnstown, Harris will meet with a local small business owner as she promotes her economic plan. In Wilkes-Barre, she will hold a rally at the McHale Center.

The last Democrat to win both of those counties in a presidential election was President Obama in 2008. He also won Luzerne in 2012.
