Diddy trial rocked by mention of famous rapper and girlfriend who 'took part in orgies': Live updates

Diddy's lawyers on Thursday morning spoke about an event in January 2024 involving Jane in a hotel room in Vegas and how it was important that they be able to use some names that they are prohibited from doing by the anonymity order around the witness.

Doing so would allow members of the public to ‘come forward’ if they had information that might help the case. Agnifilo said that using the names was ‘important’.

Prosecutor Maurene Comey said that doing so would be a ‘pretext to harass and intimidate this witness’ and that enough had been revealed already so that anyone who had information about that event could.

The judge agreed and said he wouldn’t modify the order to allow the names from this episode to be used. The judge said this was a ‘collateral issue’ and not related to the sex trafficking charges.

Once she was back on the stand, Jane explained that in January, 2024, she traveled to Vegas with a famous rapper and his girlfriend on a private plane.

Jane said she saw Anton, one of the male escorts, having sex with someone while the rapper and his girlfriend watched.

Diddy's lawyer said Diddy and the unnamed rapper 'were really close to one another' and he is 'at the top of the music industry.'

Jane said she was aware Anton, pictured below, had a relationship with the rapper and often traveled with the male escort.

Jane said she flirted with the rapper and flashed her breasts at the party and claimed the rapper said he had always had a crush on her.

On the latest episode of the Mail's 'The Trial of Diddy' podcast, reporter Marjorie Hernandez interviews Sharay Hayes, a male exotic dancer who testified in court that he was paid to give sexual massages to Cassie Ventura while being watched by a masked Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Jane is again speaking about an incident in June, 2024, when she says Diddy forced her to have a 'freak-off'-style sexual encounter with a male sex worker last year after chasing her around her California home, putting her in a chokehold, punching her in the face and kicking down doors.

Jane said Combs erupted after she accused him of cheating on her. After beating her, Jane said, Combs invited a sex worker over, gave her an ecstasy pill and told her: 'You’re not going to ruin my night like this.'

Jane, whose injuries included a black eye and welts on her forehead, said she’d planned June 18, 2024, as a romantic night with Combs, but now remembers it as a 'very terrible day.'

The witness claims it was the only time Diddy ever hit her.

Jane told the court on Thursday that Diddy's life became more difficult after CNN released a video of him beating up Cassie Ventura.

She said it was a 'very difficult' time for the music mogul.

Diddy then went on a family trip and started posting his kids on social media, Jane told the court.

Diddy lawyer Teny Geragos began her cross-examination of Jane on Tuesday asking about her meetings with prosecutors and her relationship with Diddy.

Jane said Friday was the first time she had seen Diddy since his September arrest.

She also revealed the government gave her immunity to testify.

Jane admitted during cross-examination Tuesday that she still loves her ex and alleged victimizer Diddy, who smiled as she recalled the good times they shared.

When asked if she wanted to 'cuddle with Diddy' during their relationship, she replied: 'And give him foot rubs.'

Diddy was nodding as Jane spoke and described him as her 'baby.'

'You used to hug him and cuddle him?' attorney Teny Geragos asked her.

'And bathe him,' Jane answered before adding that she would also put on Diddy's favorite show - Dateline.

'We’d watch it for hours,' she said with a smile.

The court then heard voice notes where Diddy called Jane his 'crack pipe' because he was 'addicted' to having sex with her. In her own voice note, Jane said she felt the same.

Diddy's wildest sexual fantasy involved a twisted NBA roleplay – casting himself as Michael Jordan, his ex-girlfriend as Kobe Bryant and the male escort she regularly slept with as Shaquille O'Neal – the ex testified on day two of the fifth week in the disgraced rap mogul's sex trafficking trial.

'Jane', who testified under a pseudonym, said the hip hop mogul's obsession with 'cuckold' scenarios may have been a way to live out his bisexual fantasies without physically engaging with men – because he was 'too ashamed' to do so openly.

Jane described the 'Freak Offs' she attended during their relationship as filled with extravagant sexual roleplay where participants gave each other nicknames inspired by legendary basketball stars.

Jane told the court that Diddy 'never laid a hand' on her - until an incident months before his arrest.

She previously recalled an incident in June, 2024, where Diddy allegedly physically assaulted her before forcing her to have sex with an escort.

On Thursday she said she was shocked because it was 'not the man she knew.'

Her testimony differs from that of Cassie's who testified to being brutally beaten throughout her romance with the mogul.

After a delay, Jane has resumed her testimony on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Diddy lawyer Teny Geragos had Diddy's his ex-girlfriend read aloud a slew of loving text messages she’d sent him over the past few years until she broke down in tears on the witness stand.

Geragos and Jane read aloud dozens of text messages exchanged during a relationship that stretched from 2021 until Combs was arrested last September.

At one point, Jane read a text saying she had 'never had a man take care of me like you do' and professing her unending love for the entertainment icon — before Jane stopped reading and began sniffling, then dabbed tears from her eyes with a tissue.

Internet trolls have tried to connect some of America's biggest names - from Barack Obama and Kamala Harris to Beyoncé and Jay-Z - to Diddy's alleged misconduct.

Prince and Kim Porter were brought into the discourse posthumously with theorists alleging both detailed Diddy's alleged exploits before their deaths.

Others even went as far as baselessly claiming Los Angeles' deadly Palisades Fire was set in an attempt to burn evidence that would be essential to Diddy's trial.

Jane told the court during cross-examination that the longest freak off or hotel night she had with Diddy was on New Year's Eve 2022, and it lasted for three days.

She said she had sex with three men.

Diddy's attorney Teny Geragos then asked Jane if she became upset days later when the mogul took another girlfriend, Gina, on a trip.

The court was then shown a text message Jane sent Diddy:

It's not right how you're treating me right now. We had such an amazing New Year’s Eve and the last thing I’d expect is coming at me sideways….speaking to me about another female.

You completely had your way and more with me New Year’s eve week. Ignoring us for days. Shows where your care is and it’s not for me. Cold. We had been so good.

Before Jane resumed her testimony Thursday, Diddy’s lawyers appeared worried about somebody coming into court who isn’t supposed to be there.

Teny Geragos stepped outside court to tell the Marshals not to let anyone not on their list into the courtroom.

The defense, prosecutors and the judge spent a while in the robing room, discussing the matter away from the public gallery.

The discussions delayed the proceedings as Jane did not take the stand until about 11am EST.

A former escort forced to have sex with Diddy's ex Cassie Ventura at the disgraced mogul's notorious 'Freak Off' parties has broken his silence to give 'some credence' to her testimony.

Ventura took the stand as a star witness in Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex trafficking trial, breaking down in tears as she told how she was forced to participate in elaborately choreographed sex marathons that routinely involved male escorts.

Shawn Dearing was among the more than 10 men hired to perform at Diddy's parties, it was revealed during the R&B singer's testimony.

In her lawsuit, Cassie accused Diddy of luring her into his circle and using his fame, wealth and connections to control her during their troubled 11-year relationship.

She claimed Diddy groomed her, paying for everything with ‘wads of cash’ and telling her ‘don’t worry about money, I have money’. She accused him of ‘perversely insisting’ she called him ‘Pop Pop’, a family name she used for her grandfather. Cassie alleged she was even tasked by Diddy to secure the services of male sex workers for his regular ‘Freak Offs’ – debauched orgies fuelled by drugs and alcohol.

By making the complaint, Cassie’s actions opened the floodgates for dozens of alleged victims to come forward.

'On our way to Turks, I was facing him and could see his eyes and I could see his hands and his teeth and could tell he wasn’t taking very good care of himself,' Jane said on Tuesday.

She added: 'I felt he was developing jaundice, his gums were gray probably from drug use, his hand were shaky from over consuming alcohol.'

When asked if she felt Diddy was a drug addict, she replied: 'I didn’t know how to label it. I encountered somebody that was overdoing the partying.'

Jane also said Diddy was taking anti-depressants.

When asked if Diddy gave her a Chanel bag during their relationship during their realtionship, Jane repied: 'No, I only got trauma.'

'What is a Bottega bag?' Geragos insisted.

'I’m sure you have one,' Jane fired back.

'How much do Bottega bags [cost]? Geragos pressed.

‘How much does my body cost?’ Jane replied.

The judge then asked Jane to answer the question and she said '$1,500 to $5,000.'

Jane then asked to take a break.

On Thursday, Diddy held up the book he has been carrying in court to the galler.

He was holding the 1948 book, The Magic of Believing, by Claude M. Bristol on Tuesday, as reported by the Washington Post.

The book was created to help soldiers returning from World War II process their trauma and describes itself as an exploration of 'the secrets behind harnessing the unlimited energies of the subconscious.'

On Saturday, Diddy's legal team filed a letter requesting the trial be dismissed following testimony from Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie's friend and fashion designer, Bryana Bongolan.

Bongolan claimed the rap mogul had held her over the edge of a balcony, 17 stories high.

Combs' lawyers have argued that the prosecution knowingly allowed the false testimony to be given because they had seen receipts showing the mogul was in the east coast at the time.

But on Tuesday judge Subramanian denied the request, saying: 'This is not fodder for a mistrial, it’s the adversarial process at work.'

It was the second time the judge has denied a defense demand for mistrial.

Thursday is expected to be the last day of cross examination of Jane, the final major victim.

She will speak the alleged physical attack on her at her LA home in June 2024 when she claims Diddy smashed through three doors and forced her to have sex with a male escort.

Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to rule on the prosecution's request to dismiss a juror from the trial.

Before the jury came in on Tuesday, prosecutors asked the judge to strike juror #6 from the jury.

The judge said an unspecified 'issue' had come up for the government.

The motion related to the juror in question is sealed, so no further details were mentioned in court.

On Wednesday, Diddy's lawyers 'vigorously' objected and accused prosecutors of a 'Thinly veiled effort to dismiss a black juror.'

Prosecutor Maurene Comey replied that they had seen 'what appeared to be a lack of candor with the court that raises serious issues with us.'

In a newly-released voice note from played to the court on Tuesday, Diddy told Jane: 'Baby [I] had a great time.

'You are the crack pipe. That’s my new name for you, or shall I call you CP.'

When asked about the comment, Jane said it referenced addiction 'to her ex.'

In a voice note from Jane to Diddy played to the court, she is heard telling him: 'Crack pipe is so real for both of us….definitely stay in the light, have a good celebration for you.

'I had so, so, so much fun with you. Turks was incredible, being close with you. I’m so happy. I’m definitely going to rest up...'
